Installation and Testing of Siemens 7UM Differential Relay & Signal Mapping With Siemens, ABB RTU – TPWODL BURLA

We successfully executed the installation and testing of Siemens 7UM protection relay, integrating signals with multi-vendor RTUs including Siemens CP-8050, ABB 560, and Schneider C264. Point-to-point (P2P) testing with the SCADA Control Centre was carried out to ensure seamless communication and operational reliability. This project strengthened system protection and enhanced interoperability across diverse platforms, ensuring secure and dependable substation automation.

GE SCADA System Integration & Configuration – AMNS, Paradeep

This project involved the integration of Transformer Bays (Tr-1, Tr-2, Tr-3) and CPP Bay MFM meters into the GE Substation Automation System (SAS), along with tap position configuration, dual gateway reporting through IEC 104 protocol, and commissioning of Gateway-2 PC. Integration of the GE BCU for CPP Bay ensured smooth interoperability. The solution not only modernized asset management but also enhanced SCADA reliability for critical industrial operations.

Siemens RTU & Network Restoration Work – NUVOCO VISTAS JAJPUR

We restored and reconfigured the existing Siemens RTU system, troubleshooting communication failures and recovering network links for uninterrupted SCADA connectivity. The restored system provided reliable data communication, allowing the plant to regain full monitoring and control capability. This project added long-term resilience to IFFCO’s automation infrastructure, minimizing risks and reinforcing network dependability.

Data & Speech Communication Over OPGW – IFFCO Paradeep to SLDC Bhubaneswar

The project covers engineering, supply, and transportation of communication equipment, followed by erection, commissioning, and testing of systems to enable data and speech transfer over OPGW on a 132kV EHT line. Once completed, this will establish a high-performance communication link between IFFCO Paradeep and SLDC Bhubaneswar. It represents a vital step toward real-time, secure, and efficient communication supporting smarter power transmission networks.

We are currently executing the integration of Main RTU and Sub RTU systems for the MRSS and CPP plant, incorporating seamless data exchange with an ABB 530 CID 01 RTU. The project includes configuring and validating real-time communication with SLDC Bhubaneswar via the IEC 104 protocol. Once completed, this integration will enhance data accuracy, ensure compliance with grid communication standards, and strengthen monitoring and control capabilities for reliable plant operations.
